By using our advanced automated technology, we pre-plan routes and pre-load vans. Which means our Customer Service Team Members (what we call our drivers) spend less time faffing and more time driving throughout their shifts, ensuring we’re always ready for the next delivery.
Our location
Our Andover customer fulfilment centre (CFC) re-opened in 2021 and became one of our most advanced logistics warehouses with major safety and environmental upgrades. It’s now home to over 1,000 of our robots – who whizz around our grid system picking groceries (they can pick a 50 item order in under 5 minutes!) but of course need the support of our 1,700 employees. Together, we ensure well over 70,000 orders are received by our customers every week for our Ocado Retail operation with M&S. Delivering joy throughout the county and beyond.

Come and join our league
We are now looking for Customer Service Team Members (or drivers) to join our team. Our advanced automated technology takes care of pre-planned routes and pre-loaded vans so you can focus on building relationships. And it goes without saying that good communication and the ability to deliver joy to our customers is priceless.
You never know when tummies might start grumbling, so you may be required to start as early as 05:30 in the morning or finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). But we will share your shift rota with you up to 13 weeks in advance, as we know it takes planning to manage your work-life balance.
Because of this we ask that you check commute times before applying as we don’t want you to have more than an hours commute on top of all of that driving. And some shifts may be outside of normal hours.

What do you need in order to apply?
You don't need any previous experience to join our league, just bring your awesome self and a positive attitude! Our incredible training team will equip you with all the skills you need.
However, it goes without saying you will need some essentials…
Full UK or EU driving license with a minimum of 6 months driving experience
Maximum of 6 penalty points
No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years
And of course excellent customer service skills!
Some deliveries require the handling and delivery of meats and alcohol, so please only apply if you are comfortable with this and/or are over the age of 18.

Because customers need their groceries at all hours, your shifts will include evenings and weekends, on top of weekdays. But don't worry, these aren't just any shifts, and your pay will flex to reflect any premium hours you may be required to work.
To give you an idea of what this might look like - your basic hourly rate is £13.04 plus paid breaks. As well as the opportunity to earn overtime.
If you were to work an evening shift Monday-Saturday (post 6pm and before 6am) this rises to £14.16 per hour.
A Sunday day shift would see you earning £14.34 during the day at a basic rate - rising to £15.58 an hour (after 6pm and before 6am).
