It's important to note that we also operate a 'lunar' pay cycle which means you will get paid every four weeks. During the recruitment process you'll attend an interview, where you’ll have the opportunity to review our available shift bands and rosters. This allows you to choose a schedule that best works for you. Our shifts range from 10 or 11 hours depending on what department you work in and your start time will fall within a 4-hour window. You'll receive your confirmed roster well in advance so you can plan accordingly.

We know life is busy and you might need to schedule childcare or rearrange personal activities, so we share the roster 12 weeks in advance via an app - that you will be given access to once you complete your training.

Shift lengths may vary depending on the work area you are assigned to but they are always either 8 or 10 or 11 hours. Cupboards always need stocking and tummies are always a grumbling, so we fulfil customer orders around the clock - and a range of shift patterns are available depending on your preference. You don’t need any previous experience to join our friendly team. Just bring yourself and a positive attitude and our amazing training team will do the rest!

If you join us in despatch then you will be required to load heavy totes (plastic boxes holding shopping) into frames which then are pushed into delivery vans as well as sort returns, and operate powered pallet trucks. So this is a very physical role requiring you to be able to lift up to 25kg. If you join as a warehouse operative you will need to be prepared to be working on your feet all day (and you can clock up a serious step count), as well as operating in chilled environments (but you will have the prerequisite clothing provided). It goes without saying that safety protocols and maintaining a clean work area are essential and non negotiable.

Sadly, its not possible to omit certain products from grocery orders, and it can (and will) include alcohol and meat. So, you must be over 18 to apply and prepared to handle such items. If you have allergies, we would always ensure you are assessed by our Occupational Health partners to ensure your safety and suitability for the role. Please make sure you declare this within your interview so we can work with you.

You are likely to always be solo, and this surprises those who are new to the company but you will own and work by yourself at your dedicated station.
