Our 2026 half-year highlights: delivering more, smarter

More orders, more technology supporting our operations, and continued improvements across fulfilment and delivery. Here is what the first half of 2026 looked like at Ocado Logistics.

Ocado Group has published its half-year results for 2026, reflecting six months of progress across our network. For us at Ocado Logistics, these results showcase the incredible work of our colleagues as we continue helping our partners meet growing customer demand, while improving how our fulfilment and delivery network operates.

The numbers at a glance

📦 669,000 customer orders per week↑ 9% year on year

🛒 30 million items processed per week↑ 8% year on year

⚙️ 268 units processed per hour across our UK Smart Platform fulfilment centres — ↑ 12%

🚚 22.5 customer deliveries completed on average during an eight-hour shift ↑ 6%

During the first half of the year, we supported our partners in serving more customers and processing more items than during the same period last year.

Our Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs),  where customer orders are picked and packed, continued to handle increased volumes, supporting more orders than originally designed for while making the most of the technology and capability already in place across our network.

Technology continues to play an important role in helping us work smarter. Our delivery-routing technology, Swift Router, is now live across all six UK fulfilment centres using the Ocado Smart Platform. This is helping us improve delivery planning, support shorter lead times and enable same-day delivery while maintaining our service standards.

Improving how we fulfil and deliver

Every CFC improved its productivity during the first half of the year.

Across our six UK sites using the Ocado Smart Platform, the number of units processed per hour increased by 12% to 268. This progress has been driven by the dedication of our operational teams, alongside the introduction of new picking and loading technologies.

Our delivery performance also continued to improve. Thanks to the hard work of our Customer Service Team Members (CSTMs), last-mile teams and colleagues supporting our routing technology, the average number of customer deliveries completed during an eight-hour shift increased by 6%, reaching 22.5.

These improvements also supported Ocado Retail in reporting adjusted earnings before tax of £12 million for the half year.

Behind the results

Behind every number is a colleague making it happen.

From our CFCs and spokes, to transport, engineering, last-mile operations and support teams, thousands of colleagues across Ocado Logistics play a role in keeping our network moving every day.

Brian McClory, Managing Director of Ocado Logistics, shared his thanks with colleagues:

“Every shift, every delivery, and every improvement you’ve made has contributed to these results.”

Thank you to everyone who has contributed during the first half of 2026! We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together and look forward to building on this progress throughout the rest of the year.
