At Ocado, safety is at the heart of everything we do, and our annual Driver of the Year event is just one of the ways we celebrate the people who bring that commitment to life every day.
On Wednesday 1 April, we welcomed 100 of our safest drivers from across the UK to the iconic Mallory Park race circuit for a day of recognition, competition and celebration. Each driver earned their place through consistently high standards of safe driving, making this event a true showcase of excellence across our network.
Throughout the day, drivers took part in a range of challenges designed to test their skills, both on and off the track. Behind the wheel, they experienced an incredible mix of vehicles, from high-performance supercars like Lamborghini and Ferrari to dream cars including the Maserati GT and Mercedes AMG GTS. There were also American muscle icons, classic favourites, and even the chance to get behind the wheel of our own Ocado Logistics LGVs.
Away from the track, the competition continued with a variety of interactive challenges, from reaction tests and virtual reality experiences to precision-based games, all adding to the energy and excitement of the day.
After a full day of competition, we were proud to celebrate our 2026 winners:

The celebrations continued into the evening with an awards ceremony, where drivers came together to reflect on their achievements, hear from senior leaders, and enjoy a well-earned celebration.
Driver of the Year is more than just an event, it’s a reflection of the pride, professionalism and dedication our drivers bring to their roles every day. It’s also a great example of how we recognise and reward the people who help keep our operations running safely and smoothly.
